The roads ahead seem filled with possibility..

THERE IS SOMETHING SPECIAL about this time of year. The days stretch a little longer, calendars become a little more flexible, and the roads ahead seem filled with possibility. It is the season when a simple drive can turn into an unforgettable journey, when a remarkable meal is worth travelling for, and when discovering somewhere new feels less like a plan and more like an invitation. As I look through the pages of Issue 29, one word continually comes to mind: devotion . Not simply devotion to automobiles, but to craft. It is found in newcomer Kyle Patrick's first assignment for VICARIOUS as he travels to Spain for the world debut of the 2027 Volvo EX60. It is evident in Matt Bubbers' thoughtful examination of Audi's extraordinary new Nuvolari, a car that signals a bold new direction for one of the industry's most respected manufacturers. It is equally present in my conversation with Eric Marshall as Genesis introduces Magma, a performance philosophy shaped as much by passion as engineering. Beyond the automotive world, that same commitment appears throughout these pages. We are delighted to welcome Chef Alexandra Blagdon as our newest contributor. From her kitchen at The Cape Retreat in Newfoundland, she reminds us that some of the finest culinary experiences are rooted in authenticity, beginning with what may just become your favourite lobster roll recipe. Across Canada, we continue our search for exceptional places to stay, while Michael

LoRé takes us south to experience two of golf's most revered destinations, Firestone and Pinehurst, proving that greatness is rarely accidental. And, naturally, no issue of VICARIOUS would be complete without climbing aboard two of the latest motorcycles, each offering its own unique perspective on the joy of the open road. Whether your adventures take you across the country or simply around the next corner, I hope these stories inspire you to discover somewhere unexpected, meet someone unforgettable, and never be afraid to take the scenic route. Thank you, as always, for allowing us to come along for the ride. See you on the road. Jeff Voth
